One account, three role paths. You only choose once — after that JobMela remembers where you belong.
Create one account
Everyone signs up the same way at /register with full name, email and password — or continue with Google. No separate portals for seekers, employers, or officers.
Pick your role
First-time users land on the /choose-role page and pick one of three cards.
- Register as Job Seeker — find jobs and attend live interviews.
- Register as Employer — provide organization name to post jobs and hire.
- Register as Officer — District Employment Officer; enter your district.
Complete your profile
Each role has a short setup so employers can trust seekers and seekers can trust employers.
- Seekers: headline, skills and PDF resume upload (≤ 5 MB).
- Employers: 4-step onboarding wizard including verification document upload.
- Officers: district console access for moderation, audits and reports.
How employers & seekers connect
Every interview is server-gated: the right people, the right room, at the right time.
Employer posts a job
Verified employers publish roles from their dashboard. Officers can moderate listings before they go live.
Seeker applies
Seekers browse and filter jobs, then apply in one click. The employer instantly receives a realtime notification.
Interview is scheduled
The employer schedules an interview slot. A shared room is created for both parties with a strict start time and join window.
Live alerts
Both sides receive in-app and browser notifications 5 minutes before the interview and again when the room opens.
Access gate
Only the matched employer, seeker (and officer if applicable) can enter — and only inside the scheduled window. Access is enforced on the server, not the browser.
Meet on live video
A shared Jitsi Meet room opens for both parties. The recruiter sidebar captures rating, notes, outcome and evidence — all logged to the audit trail.
